Support that's shaped around your situation.

Advice and diagnosis when that is what's useful; hands-on delivery and leadership when the business needs someone to own and run the work.

How Engagements Run

Three ways to add operational ownership and capacity.

A defined change to lead, regular part-time leadership, or someone to step in for a period. You do not need to choose before getting in touch; I'll recommend what fits once I understand the situation.

Focused ProjectsUse when the business knows what needs to improve and needs someone senior to lead it through.

Scoped, hands-on delivery of a defined piece of change, not a set of recommendations to action yourself.

When it fits
  • You already know what needs to change: a workflow, a system, a hand-off, or a piece of reporting.
  • Or it's a larger mandate: a new operating model, a restructure, a contract mobilisation, a system implementation, or an investor or board priority.
  • You need someone senior to lead it through, not just advise on it.
What it involves

I work with the team to lead the change through, bringing in specialist support where needed and staying accountable for the operational outcome, not just the recommendation.

What you get

A defined problem fixed and embedded, whether that's a workflow, a system implementation, better management information, supplier coordination, or a new way of working that sticks.

Fractional LeadershipUse when the business needs regular senior operational ownership but is not ready for a full-time Operations Director or COO.

Ongoing, part-time senior leadership, flexed to what the business needs rather than a fixed package. From £1,500 per month.

When it fits
  • The business has grown, but decision-making still runs through the founder.
  • Multiple workstreams need coordinating and nobody currently owns that.
  • You need this kind of input regularly, not just for one project.
What it involves

I work alongside the owner and leadership team, take ownership of the operating rhythm and cross-functional change, and stay accountable for turning priorities into progress.

What you get

Faster decisions, clearer ownership, and senior operational capacity without recruiting, structuring and paying for a full-time hire.

Interim & EmbeddedUse when the business needs someone experienced to step in, manage the work and add capacity for a defined period.

Temporary, hands-on operational leadership. The mandate and time commitment are shaped around the gap, transition or delivery need rather than a fixed package.

When it fits
  • An Operations Manager, Head of Operations, Operations Director or COO gap needs covering.
  • A transition needs more embedded leadership than a few days each month.
  • Delivery is suffering because the existing leadership team does not have enough capacity.
  • A function, workstream or operational change needs someone to manage it day to day.
What it involves

I work inside the operating rhythm for an agreed period, managing priorities, people, meetings, decisions and delivery rather than observing from outside and handing back recommendations.

What you get

Experienced operational capacity quickly, with a clear mandate, agreed measures and a planned handover or transition when the role ends.

The prices shown are starting points. Interim and embedded work is scoped around the mandate, time commitment and duration, and may be structured as an interim consultancy engagement or a fixed-term role where appropriate and agreed.

Operations Deep Dive

A focused, evidence-based review of how the business operates.

Interviews, focus groups, and document and system reviews, fixed-price and scoped to the size of the business and the question being asked. From £2,950.

When it fits
  • Reviewing the wider business before committing to anything.
  • Improving a specific process, team or area.
  • Validating a proposed system, automation or AI initiative before signing off on it.
What you get

A clear current-state assessment, prioritised findings, a clear call on what to keep, improve, connect or replace, and a practical implementation roadmap.

Your business does not need to be broken to work better.

If growth, complexity or years of workarounds have made the business harder to run, I can help you work out what to tackle first, lead the change or step in to add operational capacity.
